One day you pull a book from your bookshelf, which is very much nostalgic to you  or a book that has a sentimental value and find that it is covered with mold. Will your reaction be one of Frustration, anxious or feeling of no hope of saving them?

Many times there is a way to recover your book and prevent the mold from further damage. If the mold is only on the cover then there is less to worry about than if it is inside on the pages

There are few ways that you can help you to remove mold from your books:-

•      Molds on Book Cover: If mold is growing on the cover of the book   then it is easier to salvage the book. First remove the cover of the book if possible. Then brush off the mold. Soak a piece of cloth or sponge in detergent/disinfectant mix water and rub the cloth softly on the cover. Then place the book in sunlight to dry as sunlight can kill all germs spores.
